East Mulberry Street, sundown

Alena Tobin
Sophomore Magazine Journalism Major

Previously seen wearing black liquid leggings, I was not the least surprised when I learned that Alena was also an ardent supporter of The Sartorialist.  I was immediately struck by her feminized tuxedo jacket and shiny box-ish boots which come so easily together to create the perfect monotone palette. It is easy to view Alena's confident style and disposition.

I really like your blog, I just thought I would let you know. It was an interesting idea and I'm glad for the few J101 students who are writing something other than complicated political essays...

Hi there.

I don't know if you are going to see this, since I see you haven't updated this blog since 2010, but I was wondering if you might please take this particular post down.

I'm the girl in the photo (Alena Tobin). I stopped going to OU during my junior year. I came home and eventually transferred elsewhere.

I noticed that if I look up my name in a search engine or image search, this post comes up immediately.

I have a fairly unique name, so it is easy for people to find me.

Basically, to make a long story short, my time at OU ended on a very unexpected, sad, and difficult note. Because of the nature of what happened, I'd prefer not to leave an internet track of my time there, which may be easily accessed by anyone.

I feel awkward posting this here, but I didn't see an email or other way that I could contact you.

I do hope you see this, and thank you so much for your time.
